Die Kreuzen, an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1981 and later relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Initially known as The Stellas, the band consisted of Dan Kubinski on vocals, Brian Egeness on guitar, Keith Brammer on bass guitar, and Erik Tunison on drums. Their debut release was the Cows and Beer EP in 1983, followed by their self-titled album in 1984. Die Kreuzen evolved from hardcore punk to alternative rock, releasing notable albums such as October File (1986) and Century Days (1988). The band's later years saw various side projects and lineup changes, including the formation of Chainfall by remaining members after Egeness left in 1992. They were inducted into the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Hall of Fame in 2011. Die Kreuzen began performing again in 2012, playing shows at Turner Hall in Milwaukee.
