Azarath is a Polish death metal ensemble from Tczew formed in 1998. The group was established by Zbigniew Promiński, known as “Inferno”, Bartłomiej Waruszewski, known as “Bruno”, and Andrzej Zdrojewski, known as “D.”. Their recording career began with the demos Traitors (1998) and Destroy Yourself (2000), followed by the debut studio recording Demon Seed (2001). They achieved professional recognition as a supporting act for the group Vader on the Revelations Tour in 2002. Following the departure of Zdrojewski in 2003, Mariusz Domaradzki, known as “Trufel”, joined the ensemble. Their recording career includes the studio recordings Infernal Blasting (2003) and Diabolic Impious Evil (2006). Waruszewski departed the group in 2009 and was replaced on vocals and bass by Marek Lechowski, known as “Necrosodom”. Their discography includes the studio recordings Praise the Beast (2009) and Blasphemers' Maledictions (2011). In 2011, Domaradzki departed the ensemble and Piotr Ostrowski, known as “P.”, joined on bass. Their discography includes the studio recordings In Extremis (2017) and Saint Desecration (2020).
