Microstoria were a German experimental electronic ensemble from Düsseldorf active between 1994 and 2002. The group was established by the musicians Markus Popp and Jan St. Werner. They achieved professional recognition for a playful musical style incorporating warm electronic sounds. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Init Ding (1995). Their discography includes the studio recordings snd (1996) and Reprovisers (1997). They achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Model 3, Step 2 (2000). Their discography includes the studio recordings Invisible Architecture #3 (2002) and Improvisers (2002). The ensemble became inactive in 2002.
