Liv Glaser, born on September 23, 1935, in Oslo, Norway, is a pianist and music professor, known for several international music releases and concerts. Raised by professional musicians, she trained with Robert Riefling and Vlado Perlemuter, debuting in Oslo in 1960. Glaser collaborated with Sir John Barbirolli and the Hallé Orchestra, releasing albums like Grieg's Lyric Pieces Vol. I (1965) and Lyrical Travels with Edvard Grieg (2007). She has performed widely, including at the Festspillene i Bergen, and was appointed professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music in 1994. Glaser received the Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 2018.
