Christ Agony, a Polish black metal band from Morąg, was formed in 1990. The group's initial releases included demos such as Sacronocturn (1990) and Epitaph of Christ (1992), which laid the groundwork for their future albums. Their debut album, Unholyunion, was released in 1993 under Baron Records. This was followed by Daemoonseth Act II in 1994 on Adipocere Records. The band continued to release notable works such as Moonlight - Act III (1996) and Darkside (1997). In 2005, due to legal issues, Christ Agony performed under the name Union until 2007. Subsequent releases include Condemnation in 2008 and Nocturn (2011).
