Mainz-based metalcore band Leyka enter a new era with their single “Concrete Sun.” A lineup change and the addition of new guitarist Pavlos delivering clean vocals push the band toward a heavier, more modern sound while still holding on to their metalcore roots.
Blending crushing riffs with atmospheric tension, Leyka now sit comfortably alongside bands like Bury Tomorrow, Make Them Suffer and Thrown.
“Concrete Sun” explores the fragile space after a crisis — when the darkness is gone but the warmth of the light hasn’t returned yet.
With new music on the way, the five-piece will also take their sound across Germany on the “Road to DYSTOPIA” Tour, leading up to their self-hosted DYSTOPIA Festival in Rüsselsheim.
