Red Riders was an Australian indie rock band formed in Sydney in 2003 by Alexander Grigg, Adrian Deutsch, Mathew Chapman, and Thomas Wallace. They gained recognition through their energetic live performances and support slots with acts including Jet, The Sleepy Jackson, Franz Ferdinand, and The Living End. The band released two EPs, Red Riders (2004) and The Plan A (2005), followed by their debut album Replica Replica in 2006. Their second album, Drown in Colour, was released in 2009 and reached No. 59 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The band announced their breakup in 2011, later reuniting for performances in 2017 and 2021. Following the band's original run, members pursued other musical projects, including Palms and solo work.
