Jean-Claude Gianadda is a French singer-songwriter born on January 8, 1944, in Yonne, France. He began his career as an educator, teaching sciences at Collège Saint-Bruno in Marseille from 1970 to 1994, and became the director of the school in 1976. He released his first single, “Pour bâtir”, in 1974. His notable songs include “Trouver dans ma vie ta présence” and “Qu'il est formidable d'aimer”. He collaborated with the Lalanne brothers and recorded more than 100 albums, including Laisse entrer le soleil (1983) and Près de Toi Marie (1999). His work earned him several distinctions, such as the SACEM Medal, the National Oscar of Christian Song in 2016, and appointment as a Chevalier in the Ordre National du Mérite in 2017. He conducted numerous tours across France and French-speaking Africa, promoting his music and humanitarian efforts through the Association Jeunesse et Culture Saint-Bruno, which he created in 1977.
