I AM THEY é uma banda cristã de pop/rock sediada em Nashville e conhecida por músicas pop-friendly animadas misturadas com toques de Americana em sua instrumentação. A partir de 2019, a formação é composta por Jon McConnell, Matthew Hein, Abbie Parker, Justin Shinn e Nicole Hickman.

Começaram por ser um grupo que se juntou como parte de um ministério de adoração chamado "Solomon's Porch" em 2008. No entanto, tornou-se num evento regular e a banda mudou o seu nome para I AM THEY. Eles tocaram em igrejas locais por vários anos, assinando com o Provident Music Group em 2013 e lançando seu primeiro álbum autointitulado em 2015. Foi um sucesso, levando-os ao número dez na parada de álbuns cristãos da Billboard e ganhando uma indicação no GMA Dove Awards 2015 para Novo Artista do Ano.
