Luca Turilli, born March 5, 1972 in Trieste, Italy, is an Italian composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose career began in the early 1990s. He founded Thundercross, later renamed Rhapsody, with whom he released albums such as Legendary Tales (1997) and Dawn of Victory (2000). As a solo artist, he released King of the Nordic Twilight (1999), Prophet of the Last Eclipse (2002) and The Infinite Wonders of Creation (2006). In 2006 he issued Lost Horizons under the project name Luca Turilli's Dreamquest, followed by the single “Virus” (2006). After departing Rhapsody of Fire in 2011, he formed Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, releasing Ascending to Infinity (2012) and Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus (2015). He later joined Turilli / Lione Rhapsody, issuing Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution) (2019) before the group disbanded in 2023.
