The Twinkle Brothers, a Jamaican reggae band from Falmouth, Jamaica, were formed in 1962 by brothers Norman Grant and Ralston Grant. Their first single, "Somebody Please Help Me", was recorded in 1966 for producer Leslie Kong. The band released their debut album Rasta Pon Top in 1975. In 1977, they signed to Virgin Records' Frontline label, releasing albums like Love, Praise Jah (1979) and Countrymen (1980). After being dropped by Virgin Records in the early 1980s, Norman Grant moved to the United Kingdom and continued releasing music under the Twinkle Brothers name. Since the 1990s, they have worked with Polish band Trebunie-Tutki, blending reggae and traditional music from the Tatra Mountains. The Twinkle Brothers have continued to perform regularly worldwide.
