Nidingr

Nidingr, a Norwegian black metal band, was founded in 1992 in Borre by guitarist Morten Bergeton "Teloch" Iversen as a solo project under the name Audr. After adding a second guitarist and changing their name, the group initially released demos in 1996 and 1999 before signing with Dark Essence Records for their debut album Sorrow Infinite and Darkness (2005). Notable albums include Wolf-Father (2010), Greatest of Deceivers (2012), and The High Heat Licks Against Heaven (2017). Nidingr performed at major festivals such as the Inferno Metal Festival Norway in 2011 and Hellfest in 2015. The band's music is characterized by a blend of black metal and death metal elements, often incorporating dissonant riffs and experimental structures.
