Varius Manx is a Polish pop-rock band founded in Łódź in 1989 by Robert Janson. The group released their debut instrumental album The Beginning in 1990. Anita Lipnicka joined the band in 1993, and the group began incorporating Polish-language songs into their repertoire. The band achieved major commercial success with Emu (1994) and Elf (1995), both of which sold over 500,000 copies, and won the Fryderyk Award for Group of the Year in 1995. In 1996, Kasia Stankiewicz became the new lead singer following Lipnicka's departure, recording albums including Ego (1996) and End (1997) with the band. In 2001, Monika Kuszyńska became the lead singer and recorded the albums Eta (2001), Eno (2002), and Emi (2004). Kuszyńska was seriously injured in a car accident involving the band in 2006 and later left the group in 2010. Anna Józefina Lubieniecka subsequently became lead singer and recorded Eli (2011). Kasia Stankiewicz returned to Varius Manx in 2015, later recording Ent (2018) with the band. The single “Do dna,” is released with Stankiewicz in December 2024.
