VS were a British R&B and pop ensemble active between 2004 and 2005. The group was established by Simon Webbe, Melody, and Ali Tennant and consisted of the members Jaime Summaz, Chinyere McKenzie, Blimi, Marvin Humes, and Ryan Taylor. Their recording career began with the debut single "Love You Like Mad" (2004) which reached number 7 in the United Kingdom. Their discography includes the tracks "Call U Sexy" (2004) which reached number 11 and "Make It Hot" (2004) which reached number 29. They released the debut studio recording All Kinds of Trouble (2004) and the track "If You Leave Me Now" (2004). The ensemble became inactive in 2005. Following the split Summaz released the extended play Jaime Summaz (2007) and Humes achieved professional recognition as a member of the ensemble JLS which reached number 2 on The X Factor (2008) and achieved five Number 1 singles. Taylor achieved professional recognition for roles in television programs including The Bill and Silent Witness. In 2013 it was announced the ensemble would resume activity.
