Sielun Veljet was a Finnish rock band formed in 1982, emerging from the disbanding of Hassisen Kone. They consisted of Ismo Alanko on vocals and guitar, Jukka Orma on guitar, Jouko Hohko on bass, and Alf Forsman on drums. They released their self-titled debut live album Sielun Veljet (1983) and the EP Lapset (1983), followed by the album Hei soturit (1984). They gained significant traction with the album L'amourha (1985), which featured the hit "Peltirumpu" and became their highest-selling record. Their aggressive post-punk style and powerful live performances distinguished them from other acts of the time. They released Kuka teki huorin (1986) and began recording English-language versions of their songs under the alias L'amourder. Their album Shit-Hot (1987) was followed by a European tour, including a successful run in Soviet Russia. After the commercial failure of Softwood Music Under Slow Pillars (1989), they disbanded in 1992.
