Jim Nesbitt

James Thomas Nesbitt, Jr. was an American country music singer born on December 1, 1931, in the United States of America. His career began with his first hit "Please Mr. Kennedy" (1961), which reached number 11 on the Billboard charts. He released several other notable songs including "Mother-in-Law" (1964), "A Tiger in My Tank" (1965), and "She Didn't Come Home" (1966). Nesbitt's biggest hit was "Looking for More in '64" (1964), which reached number 7 on the charts. He released his first album, Your Favorite Comedy and Heart Songs (1964), followed by albums such as Truck Drivin' Cat with Nine Wives (1968), and his last album, Phone Call from the Devil (1978). Nesbitt passed away from congestive heart failure on November 29, 2007, at the age of 75.
