DEBUT ALBUM COMING OUT JUNE 5TH !
MY DEBUT ALBUM IS COMING OUT JUNE 5TH !
Simon Bijaoui defines himself as a bumblebee — a contemplative observer of nature and an explorer with his eyes set on the stars. From Paris, this 28-year-old guitarist and songwriter makes music that will plunge you into a rich, authentic and poetic world of sound. A sound that aims to revive psychedelic rock in a modern, fresh and jazzy way.
After the success of his debut EP (Girl From the Beyond) and a string of singles — Space Explorer, Before We Fly, and the latest To The Sun — Simon unveils his first album on June 5th: I'm a Bumblebee, What Are You? A world unto itself, where psychedelic rock, jazz and soul merge into an oniric odyssey: umbrellas dreaming by the sea, deep-space dives, and an astronaut who realizes the stars were never the destination.
On stage, he takes flight with the Swinging Blackbirds, a power trio inspired by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. His next show at La BOULE NOIRE will be incandescent.
