High Pass Filter were an Australian electro-dub band from Melbourne that formed in 1995. The ensemble consisted of Ben Green, Brian May, Anthony Paine, James Wilkinson, Kelly Ryall, and Larry de Zoete. They achieved professional recognition for a live dub sound characterized by the use of unconventional instruments and mostly instrumental compositions. Their discography includes the studio recordings Audio Forensic (1997), A Trillion Dollars (1998), and Soft Adventure (2004). The group released the 7" single "ESN" / "Scrubbed" (1996) and supported touring artists including the Beastie Boys and Blues Explosion. They performed on the 'Hot House' stage at the Sydney leg of the Big Day Out Festival (2000). The ensemble became inactive in 2006, though they appeared for a reunion show in 2022.
