The Panic Channel was an American post-hardcore band formed in Los Angeles in 2004, following the third breakup of Jane's Addiction. The group consisted of Steve Isaacs on vocals and rhythm guitar, Dave Navarro on lead guitar, Chris Chaney on bass, and Stephen Perkins on drums and percussion. Their debut album (ONe) was released in 2006 through Capitol Records. The album included the singles "Why Cry," which reached number 33 on the U.S Modern Rock chart and number 39 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock chart. Later that year, the band embarked on a tour supporting Supernova. In January 2007, Siggy Sjursen replaced Chris Chaney as the touring bassist. Navarro and Perkins returned to Jane's Addiction in 2008.
