Brimstone Howl is a punk blues band from Omaha, Nebraska. The group initially gained traction with their early releases Seven Mean Runs and Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! on SPEED! Nebraska Records in 2005. Their breakthrough came with the single "Blood on the Rocks, Bones in the River", which became Boomchick Records' best-selling single. In 2007, Brimstone Howl released their album Guts of Steel produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. They followed this with We Came in Peace (2008) and Big Deal. What’s He Done Lately? (2009), both on Alive Records. Brimstone Howl released numerous singles from 2007 to 2010 and toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe. Their music was featured in television shows such as Supernatural and Friday Night Lights.
