Jo Tae-kyoung (Korean: 조태경), professionally known as 4BOUT (Korean: 어바웃), was born on December 2, 1994. He is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer who debuted in September 2019 with the R&B and jazz single "Wither". Through his work as both a solo artist and producer, 4BOUT has developed a distinctive musical style characterized by emotive lyricism, melodic toplines, and conceptual storytelling. His early releases include the EP Miserable, followed by the two-part album Fortunate Islands Part.1 – Entrance and Fortunate Islands Pt. 2 – Exit, which explore themes of happiness, depression, and self-discovery. In 2022, he expanded his artistic vision with the trilogy EPs ANGER, EROS, and CHILDHOOD, before collaborating with producer Hemo on the EP Omnibus. His later releases include the EP Omnibus (2022), the single "Happy Tears" (2024), the album Wilder Sadness (2025), the singles "Unsent Letter" (2025), "Breath" (2025), and "All That I Hold, All That I Offer" (2025), and the EP Freediving (2026).
