Poetic Ammo is a Malaysian hip hop group formed in 1996 by Yogi B, Point Blanc, and brothers Landslyde and C. Loco. The group was known for performing in English as well as Malay, Tamil, and Cantonese. Their debut album, It's a Nice Day to Be Alive (1998), won the Best New Local English Artist award at the 6th Music Industry Awards, while its single "Everything Changes" received MTV's Southeast Asia Viewer's Choice Award. They followed with The World Is Yours (2000). After Landslyde and C. Loco departed in 2001, the group continued briefly as a duo, releasing Return of Tha' Boombox in 2003 and the compilation album The Best of Poetic Ammo in 2004, before the members pursued their own projects.
