Yasmo

Yasmin Hafedh, born on  October  27, 1990 in Vienna, Austria, is a rapper, slam poet, and author. After gaining early recognition in poetry slams, she transitioned to rap, releasing her debut album Keep It Realistisch in 2011 on Rufzeichen Records. In 2014 she followed with Kein Platz Für Zweifel. Yasmin Hafedh expanded her repertoire with Yasmo & Die Klangkantine in 2017, featuring big‑band arrangements, and continued to perform internationally, including a 2018 nomination for the Best Hip‑Hop/Urban category at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards. She collaborated with Mieze Medusa and released the track "Hi, AI (134 TWh)" in 2024, addressing AI’s environmental impact.
