My First Band is a Finnish rock and pop rock band from Vantaa. Formed in 2006, the ensemble consists of lead vocalist Antti Koivula, guitarist Mikko Virta, keyboardist Heikki Puhakainen, bassist Juho Vehmanen and drummer Heikki Kytölä. Although the group was established in 2006, the musicians had performed together in the same lineup since 1998. Before the band's formation, several members served as the touring musicians for the group PMMP. The band released its debut studio album, You Look So Bored, in 2009 through the label EMI Music Finland. Their recording history also featured the studio recording Mercury & Glitter (2011), which reached number 39 on the Finnish charts. In 2014, the ensemble issued the studio recording Corazon, which reached number 16. During its career, the group has performed as a support act for the ensemble Sunrise Avenue on a European tour. In 2017, the project participated in the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu competition with the track “Paradise”. Their later recording history included the single “Summertime, Bitches!” (2017).
