Mikro, a Greek electropop band formed in 1997, originated from Thessaloniki. The band's initial lineup included Nikos Bitzenis and Yiannis Lefkaditis, who began experimenting with electropop music influenced by the 1980s era bands such as Depeche Mode and New Order. Their release was the EP Σταγόνες in 1999. The group's lineup evolved over time, with notable members including Chloe Ann and 5irc. Mikro released several albums, including Το Τέλος Του Κόσμου (1999), E-Mail (2001), Tronik'πλάσμα (2003), New (2014), and Σουπερήρωες (2024). On April 6, 2024, they return with a live performance at the Arch Club in Athens. Mikro's music spans both Greek and English lyrics, reflecting their diverse influences and evolving sound.
