Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg, born 9 February 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a Danish singer and voice actress who began performing at age eight with a small part in Bugsy Malone. She rose to prominence when she won a record contract with EMI after appearing on TV 2's Popstars in 2003. Her debut single "Taking Back My Heart" topped the Danish chart in 2004, and the album That’s Just Me (2004) sold 22 000 copies. In theatre, she originated leading parts in Skønheden og udyret, Aladdin, West Side Story and earned a Reumert Prize in 2011 for her role in Wicked. She provided the Danish voice of Elsa for Frozen in 2013, singing "Lad det ske" and later performed "Into the Unknown" at the 92nd Academy Awards in 2020.
