Entwine, a metal band from Finland, was formed in 1995 by Aksu Hantuu, Tom Mikkola, and Teppo Taipale. Initially focused on death metal, they transitioned to a more melodic sound and added Panu Willman as vocalist and guitarist in 1997. Their demo, "Divine Infinity", received positive reviews. In 1998, Riitta Heikkonen joined as keyboardist, enabling live performances. The band signed with Spinefarm Records and released their debut album, The Treasures Within Hearts, in 1999. Following member changes, Entwine released Gone in 2001, featuring the hit single "New Dawn", which reached the top 10 of the Finnish Single Charts. The band continued with albums like Time of Despair (2002), Dieversity (2004), and Fatal Design (2006). In 2009, Entwine released Painstained, followed by Chaotic Nation in 2015.
