Dusminguet was a Spanish world music ensemble from La Garriga established in 1995. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by a fusion of rock, rumba, and flamenco known as “patxanga”. The ensemble was founded by the musician Xavier Boixader. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Vafalungo (1998) released on the label Chee-Waka Records. Dusminguet achieved professional recognition for performing approximately 400 concerts between 1998 and 1999. Their discography included the studio recording Postrof (2001), which was recorded in Morocco with local musicians. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for performing at the festival Radical Mestizo in Mexico City in 2002. The group became inactive in 2004 following the death of the bassist Carlos Rivolta on April 28, 2002.
