Elefantes, a Spanish pop/rock band from Barcelona, was formed in 1994 by Jordi Ramiro on drums, Julio Cascán on bass, Hugo on guitar, and Shuarma as lead vocalist and songwriter. Their debut EP, Elefantes EP, was released in 1996. Elefantes continued with Azul in 2000, followed by En Acústico (2002) and La Forma De Mover Tus Manos (2003), which featured the single "Que Yo No Lo Sabía". The band's career spanned several notable releases, including Somos Nubes Blancas (2005). The band announced their disbandment in December 2005, going on hiatus until 2013, when Elefantes reunited and continued releasing albums such as El Rinoceronte (2014) and Nueve Canciones De Amor Y Una De Esperanza (2016). The band's achievements include a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop Rock Album in 2014.
