Humanos, a Portuguese supergroup formed in 2004, was created to interpret unreleased songs by António Variações. The band consisted of David Fonseca, Manuela Azevedo, Camané, Sérgio Nascimento, Hélder Gonçalves, Nuno Rafael, and João Cardoso. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2004, achieved quintuple platinum status and topped the charts for weeks. Notable hits from the album include "Muda De Vida," "Maria Albertina", and "Rugas." The project culminated in four sold-out concerts, including two at Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon and one at Festival do Sudoeste with an audience of 40,000 people. In 2006, a live album Humanos Ao Vivo was released, marking the end of the Humanos project.
