Krystof, a Czech pop rock band, was founded in 1994 in Havířov by Richard Krajčo, Nikolaj Arichtev, Jaroslav Blahut, Biser Arichtev, and Pavel Studník. The group's initial breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Magnetické pole in 2001. Over the years, Krystof has released numerous singles, such as "Lolita" (2001), "Obchodník s deštěm" (2002), and albums including V siločarách (2002), 03 (2003), Mikrokosmos (2004), and a compilation album, Ži(v)je (2005). Their album Rubikon (2006) marked a significant milestone with the hit single "Rubikon". Krystof won their first Anděl Award in 2006, followed by twelve more. They also released the compilation album, Poločas (2007), a single "Plán" (2007), and a live album, Kryštof v Opeře (2008). Notable albums include Jeviště (2010) and Inzerát (2012). In 2013, they received the Český slavík award for Group of the Year. The album Srdcebeat, released in 2015, and the compilation album 25, in 2017.
