Lombard is a Polish rock band formed in 1981 in Poznań. The group is led by Grzegorz Stróżniak, who serves as composer, arranger, vocalist, and keyboardist. Its early lineup included vocalists Wanda Kwietniewska and Małgorzata Ostrowska, with Ostrowska becoming one of the band's principal vocalists during its most successful period in the 1980s. Lombard released their debut album, Śmierć dyskotece, in 1983, followed by Wolne od cła (1984), and became known for songs including “Przeżyj to sam,” “Szklana pogoda,” “Adriatyk, ocean gorący,” and “Nasz ostatni taniec.” After periods of inactivity and lineup changes, Marta Cugier joined the band as vocalist in 1999. Lombard released Deja'Vu (2000), featuring “Deja'vu – to już było,” followed by Show Time (2012). In 2024, the band released the four-disc LOMBARD 40/40 project, featuring 40 songs from across their career recorded by the current lineup. Their recordings also include the single “Mój kawałek ziemi i nieba” (2025).
