Luc Van Acker, born October 6, 1961 in Tienen, Belgium, is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and music producer who began releasing solo material with the album Taking Snapshots (1982). His early work includes the single “Zanna” (1984), a duet with Anna Domino featured on his album The Ship (1984), and a guitar performance on Shriekback’s album Jam Science (1984). In 1985, he co-founded the industrial group Revolting Cocks with Al Jourgensen and Richard 23, contributing to their first three studio albums Big Sexy Land (1986), Beers, Steers, and Queers (1990), and Linger Ficken Good (1993), as well as the live album Live! You Goddamned Son of a Bitch (1988). He also produced Anna Domino’s mini-LP East/West (1986) and Mussolini Headkick’s albums Themes for Violent Retribution (1989) and Blood on the Flag (1990). His career includes extensive collaborations across the alternative rock and industrial music scenes.
