Bachman & Turner, a musical project formed in 2009 by Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, emerged after the dissolution of Bachman–Turner Overdrive. Their collaboration began when Bachman, working on a solo project, invited Turner to contribute vocals, leading to the joint effort that would become Bachman & Turner. The pair released their self‑titled album in 2010, which entered the Canadian Albums Chart at number 32, and the follow‑up mini‑album Forged In Rock the same year. Singles such as "Rollin' Along" and "Slave To The Rhythm" were issued through iTunes. In 2011 the duo recorded Live At The Roseland Ballroom, NYC, a two‑CD set that later aired on PBS in 2012 as Front Row Center. The band toured extensively across Canada, the United States, and Europe until 2018, when Fred Turner retired from touring.
