Screw were a Japanese rock and metal ensemble from Japan active between 2006 and 2016. The group was established by the musicians Byou, Kazuki, Yuuto, and Jin. After the guitarist Manabu joined in 2007 and Yuuto departed in 2009, the ensemble included the bassist Rui, who remained until 2014. Their recording career began with the mini-album Nanairo no Reienka (2006) and the single "Nejireta Shiso" (2006). Their discography includes the studio recordings Fusion of the Core (2007), X-Rays (2009), and Duality (2010). They achieved professional recognition for the tracks "Raging Blood" (2008), "Wailing Wall" (2008), "Gather Roses" (2008), and "Cursed Hurricane" (2010). Their recording career includes the studio recording Biran (2012) and the major-label debut single "Xanadu" (2012). They released the studio recordings Screw (2013) and Psycho Monsters (2014) and the single "Fugly" (2014). The ensemble became inactive in 2016.
