Founder of the band Sharko in 1997, David Bartholomé is a very special character in Belgian rock. David Bartholomé has been writing about Sharko's adventures on the band's website since 2001. In 2009, he decided to publish these stories under the title Sharko Journal 2003-2009. David Bartholomé is a zany, wacky character who regularly performs alone, mixing songs and humorous sketches. In June 2010, the documentary David Bartholomé : Extravertif attempts to capture this singular character. A mere parenthesis or already post-Sharko, the April 2012 album Cosmic Woo Woo focuses more on David Bartholomé's songwriting than on his extravagance.
