Christina Lindberg

Christina Agnes Maria Lindberg Wigardt, known professionally as Christina Lindberg, born on November 4, 1968, in Helsingborg, Sweden, is a country and dance band singer. She began her musical career in the 1980s, releasing her first solo albums Christina Lindberg and Nya Starka Vindar in 1985 and 1986 respectively. She collaborated extensively with the dance band Lasse Stefanz and formed her own band, Christina Lindbergs orkester, which had several hits on the Swedish charts. One of her most notable songs, "De sista ljuva åren", recorded with Lasse Stefanz, reached the Svensktoppen in February 1989 and stayed there for 65 weeks. She released the album Back to the Roots in 2015.
