The 747s were an indie rock band from Liverpool, England, that was active in 2006. In that year, they released their debut album, Zampano, as well as the singles "Equilibrium"/"Set Me Free", "Night & Day", "Death of a Star", and "Rainkiss", all on Ark Recordings. They supported notable acts such as The Raconteurs, The Strokes, and The Thrills during their UK tours. Lead singer Oisin Leech also collaborated with Arctic Monkeys on their cover of "Baby I'm Yours", which was released as a b-side to the single "Leave Before the Lights Come On". The band disbanded shortly after, with members pursuing other musical projects.
