The Youngsters is a French electronic music ensemble established in 1999. The group consists of the musicians Gilles Escoffier and Olivier Mateu. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by Detroit techno, house, and ambient. The ensemble was founded by Escoffier and Mateu. Their recording career began with the song "Deep Inside" (1999) released on the label G-Funk. The Youngsters achieved professional recognition for the debut extended play Sampler EP (1999) and the extended play In Charly We Trust (2000). They achieved professional recognition for signing with the label F Communications in 2000. Their discography included the debut studio recording LemonOrange (2001) which featured the song "Illogique" and the song "Spanish Harlem". The Youngsters achieved professional recognition for the studio recording The Army of 1.0. (2004) and performing at festivals worldwide.
