Jonn Serrie, born 27 January 1951 in Waterford, Connecticut, is an American composer of space and New Age music. He began his career in the early 1980s with planetarium projects, releasing And the Stars Go With You (1987) and Flightpath (1989). The 1990s saw Tingri (1990), Planetary Chronicles, Volume 1 (1992), Midsummer Century (1993), and Ixlandia (1995). In 2000, he collaborated with flutist Gary Stroutsos on Hidden World. Subsequent releases include Lumia Nights (2001), The Stargazer's Journey (2003), Epiphany: Meditations on Sacred Hymns (2005), and Thousand Star (2009). His music has been used in NASA projects, the IMAX film Hubble: Galaxies Across Space and Time, and What the Bleep Do We Know!?. In 2001, he founded the Galaxy Music Scholarship to support students pursuing careers in new age and space music composition.
