George Pringle, born Georgina Richards-Pringle on December 28, 1984, in London, is a British artist, performer, and writer known for her stream-of-consciousness poetry and prose delivered over electronic music. She began experimenting with home recording at age 16. She debuted her single "LCD I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down" in 2008, as well as a self-released album named Salon Des Refusés the following year. Her breakthrough came when Drowned in Sound founder Sean Adams started managing her and featured her 2009 single "Carte Postale" in the NME Ones to Watch section. She gained further recognition with features in The Guardian and other mainstream press outlets. Her third album, Golfo Dei Poeti, was released in 2013. She performed at notable festivals including Reading, Leeds, Bestival, Latitude, and Massive Attack's Meltdown Festival, and supported bands like Air on their European tour.
