Conor Matthews ist ein US-amerikanischer Sänger und Songwriter, der am 17. Juni 1995 in Lemont, Illinois, geboren wurde. Er begann sich schon früh für Musik zu interessieren, lernte Klavier spielen und schrieb als Teenager seine ersten Songs. Nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt an der Belmont University in Nashville machte er als Autor auf sich aufmerksam und unterschrieb im Alter von 20 Jahren einen Verlagsvertrag. Zunächst auf das Schreiben von Country-Musik ausgerichtet, entwickelte er sich allmählich zu einem Pop- und R&B-Stil, der von Künstlern wie Justin Timberlake und Bruno Mars beeinflusst wurde. 2018 begann er, eigene Songs zu veröffentlichen, darunter "Forever Right Now", "I Told You " und "Love You Drink About", mit denen er sich online einen Namen machte. 2019 wird er der erste Künstler, der bei dem Label Altadena, das mit Warner Records zusammenarbeitet, unter Vertrag genommen wird. 2020 veröffentlichte er seine erste EP Balloons, gefolgt von einer zweiten, Heartbreak in the Hills, die beide in einer urbanen Pop-Ästhetik verankert sind, die sowohl modern als auch emotional ist und von seinen persönlichen Erfahrungen inspiriert ist. In den Jahren 2023 und 2024 folgten mehrere Singles, die sein erstes Album mit dem Titel Magic ankündigten, das im Sommer 2025 erschien.
