My Sad Captains, a British five-piece rock and folk band from London, was formed in 2004 by frontman Ed Wallis. After his previous outfit dissolved, Wallis recorded songs under the name My Sad Captains and assembled a full band. In 2007, they released their debut single "Bad Decisions" b/w "Here and Elsewhere". Their first album, Here & Elsewhere, was released in 2009 through Stolen Recordings, also with Fight Less, Win More (2011). In March 2014, they signed to Bella Union for their third album, Best of Times, and released their fourth album, Sun Bridge, in 2017. The band has toured extensively across Europe and North America.
