LéOparleur, a French music group originating from Strasbourg, Alsace, was formed in 1992 by Joseph Oster and Simon Oster. The band's early performances began at local venues such as the bar L’esclave in Strasbourg on March 13, 1992. Initially known for their funk-rock fusion style, which they termed "Fonkadelickmethane," LéOparleur transitioned to a more chanson-oriented sound with French lyrics and acoustic instruments over time. Their debut album, Fonkadelicmethane, was released in 1996. The group has since released several albums, including Tout Ce Qui Brille (2006) and Faut Du Rêve (2010). LéOparleur has performed over 365 concerts across France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, and Quebec. The band's lineup has evolved significantly, with notable members including Maya Martinez, Adrien Geschickt, Jean Bernhardt, and Joseph Oster himself.
