Stone Gods, a British hard rock band, formed in 2006 following the departure of Justin Hawkins from The Darkness. Guitarist Dan Hawkins and bassist Richie Edwards, along with drummer Ed Graham and bassist Toby MacFarlaine, created Stone Gods to explore a new musical direction. Their debut EP, Burn The Witch, released in 2008, featured the tracks "Burn The Witch" and "You Brought A Knife to a Gunfight". Their debut album, Silver Spoons & Broken Bones, followed in 2008, receiving critical acclaim but limited commercial success, peaking at number 67 in the UK album charts. Despite health issues leading to Graham's departure and subsequent cancellations, Stone Gods continued touring with Robin Goodridge on drums. However, by 2010, the band had gone on hiatus.
