Heinrich Richard Arndt, born 23 February 1958 in Bielefeld, Germany, is a German blues guitarist who began learning the electric guitar in his youth and studied music education at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. After a decade with the Top‑40 band Skydogs, he completed his teaching qualification and focused on blues, forming the Bluenatics in 1995. They released the albums All Kinds of Blue (1997), Voodoo (2003), and Travellers (2005). Arndt also released solo albums like Train Stories (2009) and Tennessee & Alabama (Songs Along the Road #2) (2024). His accolades include the 2015 BiG Blues Award for Best Contemporary Blues Artist, the 2016 German Blues Award for Best Album for Mississippi – Songs Along the Road, and the 2018 German Blues Award for Best Male Vocalist.
