Miriodor, formed in 1980 in Quebec City, is a Canadian progressive rock band. The group's members include keyboardist Pascal Globensky, drummer Rémi Leclerc, guitarist Bernard Falaise, and bassist Nicolas Lessard. Combining elements of jazz, progressive rock, and chamber music, the ensemble was founded by multi-instrumentalist François Émond and Globensky. The band relocated to Montreal in 1984 and independently released its debut album, Rencontres, in 1986. After signing with Cuneiform Records, the group released its self-titled album, Miriodor, in 1988, followed by 3è Avertissement / 3rd Warning in 1991. The band's discography expanded with the releases of Jongleries Élastiques (1996) and Mekano (2001). In 2005, the group issued Parade + Live at NEARfest 2002, which featured live recordings from its performances at the progressive rock festival NEARfest. The band subsequently released Avanti! (2009), Cobra Fakir (2013), and Signal 9 (2017), the latter dedicated to Émond following his death. The band released the album Elements in 2022.
