Rapper and producer, Farma G formed the duo Task Force with his brother Chester P. Born in Sunderland (Tyne and Wear) on May 8, 1974, Robin Coombes is the son of musician Peet Coombes, a member of The Catch and The Tourists alongside Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox. In 1998, he formed the rap duo Task Force with his brother Chester P, releasing eight albums between 1999 and 2013, while also being part of the collective Mud Family, also known as Mud Fam. After producing an EP in 2009, It's a Funny Old Game, Robin Coombes adopted the name Farma Beats and released several EPs, solo or in collaboration with Tylisha Haskins, Nomad Carlos, Teller Bankk$ and LoGun. In 2018, it's under the name Alien Grey that he crafts his debut album The Sentimental Alien, followed by various collaborations with Rome Streetz, Waterr, Jay Nice, Leaf or Machacha. He keeps the Farma Beats name for many albums, then chooses Farma for £10 Bag Vol. 1 (2022) and £10 Bag Vol. 2 (2023). Further projects with Chubs and Shottie followed, before the name Farma G was chosen for the album No CPR (2024), produced with Wish Master. In 2025, the solo album How to Kill a Butterfly was released under the same name.
