The Sedan Vault was a Belgian rock band formed in 1992 in Starbroek. The group initially aimed to play songs inspired by Guns N' Roses. Their debut album, Mardi Gras of the Sisypha, was released in 2006 and garnered critical acclaim from music specialists. This was followed by Vanguard in 2008. Johan Buyle, a key member, left the group after their second album. The Sedan Vault's third and final album, Minutes to Midnight, was released in April 2014. Throughout their career, they performed at notable events such as Pukkelpop, Incubate, Boomtown, the Dour Festival (2006 and 2009), and Groezrock. They also shared the stage with bands like The Datsuns in 2006. The Sedan Vault ceased activity in 2018.
