Greg Keelor

Greg Keelor is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician born in 1954 in Inverness, Nova Scotia. Born Francis McIntyre, he was adopted at age three and raised in Montreal. In 1980, he formed the band the Hi-Fi's with Jim Cuddy and released the single “I Don't Know Why (You Love Me)”. Keelor and Cuddy subsequently established the band Blue Rodeo, with which Keelor co-produced the album Lost Together (1992) and performed on recordings such as Five Days in July. In 2000, he received the National Achievement Award at the SOCAN Awards. Keelor's solo discography included the albums Gone (1996), Seven Songs for Jim (2005) and Aphrodite Rose (2006). He composed the soundtrack for the film Gunless (2010) and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2013.
